Dr. Mike Cassidy graduated in 1978 with a Bachelor in Dental Surgery degree from Glasgow University and followed a 4 year postgraduate training programme around the hospitals in the Glasgow area leading to the Fellowship in Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in 1982.
Shortly afterwards he was appointed Senior Registrar in Restorative Dentistry at Newcastle Upon Tyne Dental Hospital. In 1984 Mike attended the Eastman Dental Institute of the University of London from where he graduated with a Master of Science in Conservative Dentistry the following year. In 1986 he was appointed Consultant in Restorative Dentistry at Leeds Dental Hospital, a position he held until 1996 when he moved to Jersey in the Channel Islands where he is currently Consultant in Restorative Dentistry at Jersey General Hospital in the Channel Islands and in part time private.
Mike has a special interest in making ugly teeth look beautiful, and is very proud of the technique he has developed of placing local anaesthetic painlessly.
Mike is registered with the General Dental Council and his registration number is 52080.
